Research
My research interests are primarily focused on how speaking more than one language impacts human cognition and the brain. More specifically, I am interested in characterising the experience of multilinguals both from a behavioural perspective and from a neurocognitive perspective. In this, I investigate the mechanisms underlying language comprehension, language production as well as more general cognitive functioning in the multilingual brain using a combination of behavioural and electroencephalographic methods.
