Hello! From the start of 2024 I am joining the bachelor LST as a study adviser. For the past year I worked as a study adviser and career coach at the Faculty of Archaeology (Leiden University), replacing a colleague on pregnancy leave. I love working with students, advising on smaller and bigger issues, and am very happy to take on this new challenge at the bachelor Life Science & Technology.

Before working for the university I worked in my own coaching practice, helping individual clients with stress related issues and personal leadership development, and teaching coaches-to-be the tricks of the trade. I studied Cultural Anthropology and International Relations (MA/MSc) in the early 2000’s and taught Social Sciences for a while at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (University of Amsterdam), and have worked in communication, coaching and teaching jobs ever since. 

Next to my job at the university I will continue to work as a coach in my private practice and am training to be a trauma-informed somatic therapist. Besides my passion for personal development, I love making music, art and long walks in nature.
