Research
With a background in predictive processing, Rajat is particularly interested in the role that prediction errors play in these processes. To conduct his research, he uses advanced neuroimaging techniques, including eye-tracking, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and EEG (Electroencephalography). A key focus of his study is to explore how these findings can be applied in museum settings and art education programmes.
Background
Rajat received two masters' degrees in Cognitive Neuroscience from Durham University (2019-2020) and Radboud University (2022-2024). During this period he worked with Dr. Holger Wiese on face perception, and Dr. Floris de Lange and Dr. Yamil Vidal on auditory perception. This was followed by a research assistant position with Dr. Ivan Toni and Dr. Simon Leipold which involved building MRI analysis pipelines for a dataset.
