Fields of interest
I specialize in Phenomenological Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. I have a wide interest in Contemporary French Philosophy, mainly in Maurice Merleau-Ponty's and Jean-Luc Nancy's works.
Research
My research started with an approach to the aesthetical phenomenon of sports from Merleau-Pontian proposal of bodily expression. From then on, I've been diving into the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty in a more exegetic way, aiming to seek in his late philosophy a conception of a pre-subjectivity. Also, Jean-Luc Nancy's thoughts on the community problem have inspired me to explore the possibility of proposing an aesthetical community, from the idea of non-subjectivity in both Nancy and Merleau-Ponty's philosophies.
