Research
My research evaluates the genesis and impact of the post-structuralist art criticism developed by art historians Rosalind Krauss and Yve-Alain Bois, affiliated with October (Journal for art criticism and theory) on academic art history writing and curatorial practice in museums of Modern and Contemporary art between 1976-2004.
CV
Currently teaching in the BA Art History, and the Arts, Media and Society programmes, I have previously taught at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Leiden University ACPA PhDArts programme, and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
I obtained my MA Modern and Contemporary Art History and Theory from the University of Amsterdam.
My approach to academic teaching is informed by workshops and Theory Seminars at LUCAS, Birkbeck University of London, and the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis.
