Paul Kloeg is Head Datamanagement for the department of Metadata and Acquisition at Leiden University Libraries. In this role he manages the Open Access and Metadata Specialist clusters.
Previously he worked at Vermeulen Groep as Head of Datamanagement.
From 2009 to 2013 he studied ancient history at Leiden University. After that he worked as a PhD in the ERC-funded project, 'An empire of 2000 cities: urban networks and economic integration in the Roman Empire', directed by Prof. Luuk de Ligt and Prof. John Bintliff.
Paul finished his PhD on Roman urban networks in the Roman Near East in February 2024.
