My research is focused on the identification host-directed therapeutics that reinforce lysosomal degradation of intracellular pathogens like Mycobacteria and Salmonella. To this end, I apply proximity-based proteomics technology to identify interaction partners of lysosomal membrane protein DRAM1, which forms a key resistance factor against intracellular infection by promoting lysosomal activity.
