My PhD research focuses on the Garland of Philipp of Thessalonica (first century AD), an anthology of Greek literary epigrams, with especial attention to questions such as identity and social representation.

My project, Greek Epigram in Rome: cultural diversity in pointed verse, is part of the NWO program PhDs in the Humanities (supervisors: Prof.dr. C.C. de Jonge, Prof.dr. A.B. Wessels).
