Najat is an Educational Adviser and Trainer that works closely with university teachers, policy makers, and other university staff members to stimulate teacher professionalisation. She specifically focusses on creating inclusive classrooms, curriculum development, and the design of meaningful student-centred learning experiences.
Najat el Hani is an educational advisor and trainer at the Leiden Learning and Innovation Center (LLinC). She advices and trains in the development of higher education practices and construction of aligned assessments.
Previously, she worked at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Windesheim-Flevoland. She lectured on cultural anthropology, social work, internationalization and qualitative research methodologies in higher education.
After her Bachelor’s in Social Work (2009) she finished her Master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology (2013) at the VU University in Amsterdam. In 2021 she completed a postgraduate Social Justice program at Harvard University (Extension School), where she mainly focused on the Moroccan ‘Arab Spring movements’ from a political anthropological perspective.
