Min J Cho blends her expertise in global health and international development with contributions to knowledge and skills in academia. Her previous research projects include analyzing health risks in urbanizing regions of Central Asia (Uzbekistan) and examining health research systems through historical institutionalism perspective in Central Asia. Her current research project, as part of a knowledge partnership, supported by an award from the Central Innovation District in The Hague municipality, concerns with food waste as an expression of identities, prosperity, social and ecological rights and responsibilities. It is here that she developed an interest in the cross-section between public health, design, sustainability, and policy through research that explores the impact of emerging technologies and innovations in data collection (Open Data Kit, Photovoice, Simulation Game, and Augmented Reality). Extension number: 8731
