Mark Roelofsen is a dual PhD candidate at Leiden University Dual PhD Centre. Working title thesis: 'Design of a consistent, successful and sustainable technical analysis system'.

More information about Mark Roelofsen

Mark Roelofsen studied Industrial Design at Delft University of Technology. He then worked as an industrial designer at Royal Huisman Shipyard and subsequently in various management positions at Dutch and international companies. In addition, Mark has experience as an (Internet) entrepreneur, focusing on Internet payments where he gained a lot of experience with Private Equity (including ABNAMRO) and regulator DNB (as financial director).

A special highlight for Mark is winning the 'Broos van Erp prize' (the government ICT innovation prize, awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs) in 2007. Especially in recent years his interest lies in a more scientific approach to investing and analysing.
