Maarten van 't Riet is senior researcher at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and External Phd Candidate at Leiden University, department of Economics and department of Tax Law.
He has been a consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Maarten graduated in Econometrics at the University of Groningen. His current research involves the international corporate tax system and the opportunities for tax avoidance. Specifically, bilateral (double) tax treaties are subjected to a network analysis. Also, the Global Minimum Tax will be scrutinized.
