More information about Lukas Johannes Feldmann

Professional experience

Lukas studied the Erasmus Mundus Master's Programme on Circular Economy (CIRCLE) at NTNU in Trondheim and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. He conducted his thesis at Waseda University in Tokyo about GHG emissions associated with the Swedish food consumption using Multi-Regional Input Output (MRIO) modeling. Before his master's studies, Lukas worked in the Energy Management Department of Volkswagen in Germany.

Research topic

Lukas' research focuses on developing a dynamic systems model to analyze the supply of secondary raw materials within the context of the EU’s energy and digital transitions (twin transition). The project investigates Critical Raw Materials (CRM) stocks and how circular strategies can help meet rising material demands while considering material-energy feedbacks. His work is part of the EU funded research project RAWCLIC.

Personally, he is very interested in sustainable food production and plant-based nutrition, feel free to share your research regarding these topics.
