Professional experience
Louie studied evolutionary and molecular Biology in Leiden.

Research topic
Louie's main research focus is on the prediction of tipping points of mosquito populations and mosquito-transmitted disease risk in a changing world. For this, he is collaborating in a large and diverse research team with the Netherlands Center for One Health. He aims to understand and predict the complex and dynamic interaction among the host-vector-pathogen axis in different environmental settings.
