Research
Meng is interested in how natural (versus urban) environments facilitate stress buffering and stress recovery across physiological, subjective, and cognitive levels. She is also strategising to undertake this research using virtual reality technology to simulate natural settings.
Short CV
Meng obtained her second master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University in 2022. Currently, she works as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Henk van Steenbergen at the Cognitive Psychology unit.

- 2023: CSC fellowship to initiate her PhD project, which will delve into the role of nature in buffering stress response.
