Elisabeth Schreuders is an assistant professor in the unit Developmental and Educational Psychology of the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University.
Short CV
Elisabeth obtained her research master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Leiden University in 2014. During her internship she worked on the longitudinal Braintime study in the Brain & Development lab at Leiden University. She wrote her thesis about the relationship between the serotonin transporter gene and prosocial behaviour across adolescence.
In her PhD project, supervised by Dr. Berna Güroğlu and Prof. Dr. Eveline Crone, Elisabeth studied peer relationships and the development of the social brain across adolescence. She mainly focuses on prosocial behaviour and its links with structural and functional developmental changes.
