I obtained my bachelor's degree in chemistry at Colombian National University (UNAL). During my master's thesis, I studied the potential of marine cyanobacteria for the discovery of new cytotoxic compounds. To continue with the study of marine natural products, I investigated the changes in the metabolome of giant barrel sponges under diverse environmental conditions during my PhD.
