In her PhD dissertation (Cantab., 2023), she examined narratives surrounding style and historicism in the British decorative arts of the nineteenth century, with a particular focus on the role of the periodical press in shaping and disseminating design debates across a variety of publics which included not just art professionals, theorists, and critics, but also manufacturers, workers, and the general public.
