Research on sleep and mental health
Laura Pape's PhD research focuses on the development and testing the effectiveness of a sleep and biological clock e-health intervention. The aim of this intervention is to improve sleep patterns and to prevent the development or exacerbation of mental health problems among university students. The intervention is implemented across several Dutch Universities through the Caring Universities platform. This NWO funded project is embedded in the BioClock consortium, which aims to promote the health of the biological clock across society.
Short CV
Pape obtained her premaster and master’s degree in Health Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with the specialisation prevention and public health. During her research internship the was part of a team investigating lifestyle interventions in people with severe mental illness, which she continued as a junior researcher before starting her PhD in Leiden.
