Ko-Ju Chuang obtained a Ph.D. degree in Laboratory astrophysics at Leiden University (The Netherlands) in 2018, and his thesis focused on the interstellar origin of (complex) organic molecules. After that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max-Planck-institute for Astronomy/ Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany). In December 2020, He started working at Leiden Observatory, and the current research interest is interstellar dust and ice physicochemical evolution induced by (non-)energetic processing in star-forming regions.
