Karel Roos started his career as a qualified teacher for maths and chemistry in secondary education. After seven years he continued his career for 13 years in adult education: he was certified trainer for Microsoft, Novell and Lotus Domino in both commercial and non-profit environments, national and international (English).

After that he was a teacher at an IT academy for 2.5 years where he contributed to the development of competency-based education and development and implementation of assessments. Currently, he is IT coordinator/adviser, information manager  and Security Officer (Liso).
