Jorien van Hoorn is an assistant professor at the unit Developmental and Educational Psychology of the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University.
Short CV
She obtained her research master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Leiden University in 2013. During her research master, she worked as an intern in the Brain & Development lab on the large longitudinal BrainTime study. She wrote her thesis about the influence of pubertal maturation on reward-related processing in the adolescent brain.
Research
In her PhD research, supervised by Eveline Crone, Eric van Dijk, and Carolien Rieffe, Jorien investigated the influence of peers on risky choices and social decisions in both healthy adolescents and adolescents with autism spectrum conditions.
