Joop van Holsteijn is professor in Political Behaviour and Research Methods at the Institute of Political Science.
Joop van Holsteijn (1957) is professor in Political Behaviour and Research Methods. He studied Dutch Language and Literature and Political Science at Leiden University. He teaches on public opinion and political participation, elections and electoral behavior, political psychology and research methods.
His research interests include elections and voting behaviour, public opinion and opinion polling, political cartoons, referendums, and right-wing extremism.
