Professional experience

In 2024, Jonas completed his Industrial Ecology M.Sc. studies at Leiden Unversity and TU Delft in the Netherlands. His master thesis compared prospective environmental impacts of freight transport by road and rail. Before this, he worked as a consultant assessing GHG footprints. He also holds a Industrial Engineering B.Sc. degree from the University of Augsburg, Germany.

Research topic

Jonas works on the prospective Life Cycle Assessment (pLCA) of Critical Raw Materials (CRM) crucial for the ‘green and digital’ twin transition. His work is part of the EU funded research project RAWCLIC.
