PhD candidate. Jochem is working on a PhD thesis that focuses on the formative effects of new incentive and reward systems in biomedicine within the Science and Evaluation Studies (SES) group.
Jochem Zuijderwijk joined the Science and Evaluation Studies (SES) group at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies of Leiden University in 2017. He is currently working on a PhD thesis that focuses on the formative effects of new incentive and reward systems in biomedicine within the SES group lead by Sarah de Rijcke.
He holds a cum laude masters degree from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in both Cultural & Social Anthropology and Philosophy and seeks to combine his background in philosophy of science and cultural anthropology in the qualitative study of scientific practice. Past topics of interest include the development and change of dominant methods and theory in the social study of political movements and resistance.
