Research
My postdoc research focuses on cross-linguistic semantic variation, specifically regarding quantity expressions. I am interested in whether genetically unrelated languages share similar properties in their use of quantity expressions and how this aligns with the broader cognition of number and quantity.
Prior to the current project, my training mainly encompassed descriptive and historical linguistics, as well as linguistic typology. I had a specific focus on Austronesian and Malayic languages, which constituted the primary subject of my PhD dissertation.
