Research
Huseyin's research interests include cognitive neuroscience of consciousness and self-related processing, psychedelics, mindfulness and meditation, altered states of consciousness (ASCs), language processing, and predictive coding. Accordingly, his current research focuses on exploring the neural correlates of language and self-related processing in the psychedelic state. Furthermore, by using neuroimaging tools, naturalistic and ecologically valid measures, and advanced data analysis methods, he aims to understand how psychedelic substances alter language and self-related processing within the predictive coding framework.
