Short bio
Hendrik Vrijburg is Assistant Professor at Leiden University and researcher at PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. He obtained his MA from University of Groningen (2007) and PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam (2011).
Hendrik is interested in Public Finance and Applied Econometrics in general, with a focus on taxation. He has published on tax competition and tax coordination. Currently he empirically studies the taxation of Small and Medium-Sized enterprises. In his position at PBL he works on environmental taxation in general, with a large share of his time devoted to empirically studying the taxation of passenger cars.
