Hanne Klapwijk is working as a PhD candidate at the Institute of Criminal Law & Criminology at Leiden University.
Hanne Klapwijk is working as a PhD candidate at the Institute of Criminal Law & Criminology at Leiden University. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Criminology and a bachelor's degree in Law, she completed her master's degree in Criminology and Security Policy and her master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (cum laude) at Leiden University. In January 2023 she started working as a junior researcher at the Institute of Criminal Law & Criminology and the Victimology Knowledge Network in the Netherlands (ViNe). Since May 2024, Hanne has been working as a PhD candidate conducting interdisciplinary doctoral research. Her research combines insights from the fields of legal psychology and criminal law.
