Gabe van Beijeren teaches courses in Classical Chinese and assists in teaching courses in Chinese history and Chinese philosophy and religion. His personal research deals with Tang history and how history is narrated. He is currently working with Professor De Weerdt on a translation of Zhenguan zhengyao 貞觀政要 / The Essentials of Government from the Zhenguan Reign and a is research assistant for De Weerdt’s ERC project ‘Chinese Empire’ (China and the Historical Sociology of Empire).

Gabe van Beijeren is currently working with Professor De Weerdt on a translation of Zhenguan zhengyao 貞觀政要 / The Essentials of Government from the Zhenguan Reign and is a research assistant for De Weerdt’s ERC project ‘Chinese Empire’ (China and the Historical Sociology of Empire).
