In her PhD project, Federica Lucchi investigates the role of naturally fluctuating sex hormones on neurocognitive functions and mental health during the female reproductive years.

Her work is part of the project Changing Landscapes, which is part of a ERC fund granted to Prof. dr. Ellen de Bruijn. The project aims at investigating the role hormonal fluctuations on neurocognitive functions across the female lifespan. It consists of three main areas: puberty, reproductive years and menopause.
