I specialize in sociolinguistics with a focus on language use in social media. I investigate script-related practices, in particular script choices and script-switching, that take place online and on social media platforms. I'm especially interested in the attitudes held towards, and ideologies around, non-canonical scripts used by individuals of varying demographics.
