Having a species complex, taxonomic revision of the reinstated genus Kirganelia will be more interesting and challenging. The new approach combining molecular technique and Image Recognition will be used in my research. These valuable techniques can then also be introduced to speed up the biodiversity analysis and make taxonomy become more attractive.

Brief biography

I am a civil servant and junior lecturer of plant taxonomy at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia. I also a PhD candidate at Leiden University and guest researcher at Naturalis Biodiversity Center by the Fulbright scholarship from Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education.
