Ellis van Spanje is Student Wellbeing Officer at the Faculty of Humanities. In her role as project manager, she is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing policies and projects in the area of student wellbeing. Her core tasks are to identify, draw together and initiate student wellbeing initiatives.
In her work she is committed to create an environment where mental health and wellbeing is promoted, and where students can reach their full potential and thrive, both personally and professionally. Ellis obtained a Master of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne. She has a broad international network and extensive experience with developing evidence-informed wellbeing programs. She emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to create systemic change to promote student wellbeing.
