Diederik Meijer is a retired associate professor in Archaeology of the Near East.

Working on the publication of the last seasons of excavation at Tell Hammam al-Turkman, as well as that of our season at Tell Hamidiye, both in Syria.
Teaching activities
When still actively employed, I taught in the fields of the Archaeology of Anatolia, Syria, Mesopotamia, the Gulf and Cyprus, as well as the Theory of Archaeology.
