• (the parsing of) categorial grammar, with special reference to coordination and phenomena beyond context-freeness; the dependencies between grammatical theory, grammatical formalisms and parsing
• formal semantics, in particular generalised quantification and semantic typing, the interface between syntax and semantics, and inference
• language automaton Delilah: parsing and generating Dutch semantically
