Research
Cornelis van Tilburg is researcher of ancient traffic and infrastructure, especially traffic and roads in the Roman Empire. He has published several books and articles on this topic, in Dutch and English. His PhD thesis discusses the infrastructures of traffic, drinking water and sewerage, and the infrastructures of the human body.
