He holds a PhD in affective computing and AI from the Maastricht University, where his doctoral research focused on audio-visual domain adaptation. With experience teaching advanced topics in AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI ethics (at Leiden University and University of Amsterdam), Dr. Athanasiadis has mentored students and contributed to the academic community through Horizon2020 projects such as MaTHiSiS.
