Short CV
Kalampouka obtained her Master in Clinical Psychology in 2023. She holds her Bachelor in Psychology from the University and Crete. Previously, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Bachelor of Psychology courses. She has also supervised coaching sessions at Leiden University's Clinical Psychology unit and has done internships at the Hellenic Institute for Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behavior Training and the Association for the Protection of Children with Disabilities.
Research on suicidality
For her master’s thesis at the unit of Clinical Psychology, Kalampouka researched the relationship between chronotype and suicidal ideation. Using data from the Netherlands Study of Depression and Anxiety (NESDA), her longitudinal study explored the association between chronotype, suicidal thoughts, and the potential mediating influence of anxiety and depression.
During her tenure at the University of Crete's Department of Psychology, she conducted a literature review supervised by Dr. Evangelos Karademas, focusing on the multifaceted aspects of suicidality.
