Carina van Os is a PhD candidate in European Law. Her research focuses on the EU’s use of competences in the field of EU health law and policy and the constitutional consequences thereof.
Carina van Os studied Law (2020; cum laude) and International Studies with a specialisation in European studies and French (2021; cum laude) at Leiden University and subsequently obtained an LL.M. in European Law (2022; cum laude) at the same university. During her studies, she worked as a student assistant and tutor at the Department of European Law of Leiden Law School and interned at a law firm in Amsterdam. In addition, she won the Migration Case Note Contest in 2020, and participated in the Pre-PhD Programme of the Graduate School of Legal Studies of Leiden University and the European Law Moot Court.
Her PhD research focuses on the EU’s use of competences in the field of EU health law and policy and the constitutional consequences thereof.
