Brandon Zicha is Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at LUC. His research and teaching interest focus on how information is processed by social and political institutions and used to make collective decisions in modern societies, as well as the careful use and informed understanding of quantitative scientific methods for understanding social issues.

Brandon Zicha (B.A. Economics, Grinnell College, U.S.A. 2002; M.A., Ph.D Political Science, Binghamton University, U.S.A. 2010) is Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at LUC. His research and teaching interest focus on how information is processed by social and political institutions and used to make collective decisions in modern societies, as well as the careful use and informed understanding of quantitative scientific methods for understanding social issues. In addition to contributing to the provision of quantitative methods at LUC, he teaches courses that focus on the analysis of how formal political institutions such as constitutional rules and political party organization affect how relevant information is aggregated into policy-making.
