Beth Lloyd is a PhD candidate at the Cognitive Psychology Unit at Leiden University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sander Nieuwenhuis.
Her PhD project, which is funded through a NWO-VICI grant of Sander Nieuwenhuis, focusses on the impact of non-emotional arousal on learning and memory. She will be making use of a combination of methods including neurophysiological measures (fMRI and pupillometry) and pharmacological manipulations.
