Research

Dr. Berry Dongelmans' research focuses on aspects of printed texts related to the study of books. Production, distribution consumerism and design constitute the four main lines of approach. Basically, this amounts to analytical bibliography, publishers and book-sellers, the reading culture and paratext. As genres within this research, a variety of Dutch reading matter and literature as well as young people’s literature from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries offer more than enough possibilities to study book-historical developments and changes.

The coordinator of studies provides information on the degree programme, study advice (BSA), study tips, study doubts or difficulties, or other matters concerning your studies. Everything you discuss with the study advisor will remain confidential. 

The study advisor helps students to get maximum profit from their studies.
