Description of my research
My research focuses on Hegel’s theory of historical development and its contemporary political and theoretical implications. I am primarily interested in the tension between the notion of historical development, change or progress on the one hand, and stagnation, inertia, or resistance to change on the other hand.
Hegel and Resistance, edited with Rebecca Comay, Bloomsbury, 2017.
