Assamaual is a full-time junior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Leiden University. In this capacity, his research focuses on topics such as judicial independence and social rights. Additionally, Assamaual conducts tutorials for bachelor courses, including Principles of Democracy and the Rule of Law (BA1), Introduction to Administrative Law (BA1), and Constitutional Law (BA2).
