Apollonia Bolscher (1989) studied law at Utrecht University and Rhodes University (South Africa). She completed the master’s programme in Child Law at Leiden University with her thesis on child euthanasia from a children’s rights perspective.
During her studies, Apollonia worked as a volunteer at the Family Law section of Free Law Aid Clinic in Utrecht and did an internship at UNHCR The Netherlands. She also helped organise the international conference on the theme of '25 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child' at Leiden University.
Apollonia started working since August 2015 as a junior lecturer and researcher at the Child Law Department of Leiden University.
