Antoni Mut Piña is an interdisciplinary researcher specializing in consumer contract law and financial markets, with a strong focus on empirical analysis and public policy optimization. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at eLaw - Center for Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University, Antoni contributes to the ERC-funded "Safe and Sound" project. Antoni's role in this project builds on his expertise in digital regulation, consumer protection, and interdisciplinary legal research, supporting the development of responsible technology policies.
Antoni is also affiliated with prominent standardization bodies, serving as an observer for the Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute (NEN) and contributing to the ISO/TC 299/WG 2 workgroup, which focuses on safety requirements for service robots under the ISO/CD 13482 standard. This involvement reflects his commitment to shaping global standards for technology that prioritize consumer safety and transparency.
He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Barcelona, focusing on the intersection of consumer vulnerability and contractual transparency in financial services.
