Anneleen van der Meer is an assistant professor in the Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA). She works on chemical weapons research and the impact of norm transgression on strategy and international relations. She is programme director of the BSc Security Studies.

Anneleen van der Meer is an assistant professor in the Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA). She works on chemical weapons research and the impact of norm transgression on strategy and international relations. She is programme director of the BSc Security Studies.

Anneleen van der Meer obtained her MLitt and PhD in Strategic Studies from the University of St Andrews, where she studied the use of chemical weapons and the impact of norm transgression on international relations during times of war. She was a temporary lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark before moving to the Netherlands to join ISGA. She teaches courses on the BSc Security Studies and the MSc Crisis and Security Management.
