Anne Verboom has been affiliated with the Company Law department since June 2022 as a PhD-candidate. Her research focuses on combating abuse within the Dutch Act on the Confirmation of Private Restructuring Plans (WHOA).

Anne Verboom started her bachelor's degree in Law and Economics at Leiden University in 2017. She completed this bachelor's degree in 2020. After this, Anne started a master’s degree in Company Law and simultaneously started the pre-PhD programme at Leiden University. In 2021 Anne completed her master’s degree in Company Law and the pre-PhD programme.
During her studies, Anne has organized LLP meetings for first-year students as a student tutor and she has been a student assistant at the Department of Economics at Leiden University. Anne also completed an internship at a law firm and an internship at the Company Law Department of Leiden University. During her studies, Anne was also chairwoman and employee of the Rechtswinkel Goeree-Overflakkee.
Since August 2021, Anne has been affiliated with the Institute for Private Law as a lecturer in Company Law. Anne has been appointed as a PhD-candidate since June 2022. Her research focuses on combating abuse within the Dutch Act on the Confirmation of Private Restructuring Plans (WHOA).
