The PhD project of Anna Roseboom falls within the framework of the ERC Advanced project COMMUNITY. The overall aim of this project is to unravel the regulatory networks that control natural product biosynthesis in Actinobacteria.
The project
This project specifically focuses on the natural habitat and how the signals perceived therein by the bacteria are translated to appropriate responses such as growth and antibiotic production.
